Volunteer Roles

Shift 1:  9:45 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

Shift 2: 2:15 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Please Note:

To ensure adequate coverage across all roles and to allow as many parents as possible the opportunity to volunteer, we are limiting sign-ups to one volunteer per designated role.

Additionally, please be aware that only parents who are officially signed up as registered volunteers will be permitted to attend Grad Night. This policy also applies to spouses, friends, or other individuals who are not registered volunteers. This is in place to manage capacity and ensure the focus remains on our graduating seniors and the volunteer duties.

For the safety and well-being of all attendees, all Grad Night volunteers are required to attend a mandatory safety training via Zoom. Further details regarding the date and time of this training will be announced soon, so please keep an eye out for that communication.

For those of you who have signed up to assist with the Casino, there will be a mandatory casino-specific training session led by Shawn Mortensen. This training will take place after the mandatory safety training and is expected to last approximately one hour. Details for the casino training will be shared following the safety training announcement.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these requirements, which are in place to ensure a well-organized and safe event for our graduates.

Please continue to check the volunteer sign-up page periodically, as additional volunteer positions may become available as we get closer to Grad Night.

Thank you once again for your invaluable support.

TRAFFIC CONTROL STAFF

We strongly recommend that Graduates get rides to Grad Night. Our student drop-off location will be in front of the Design Building off Pleasant Street. Students will walk from the Design Building to the event entrance on Chicago Avenue in front of the large gym.. Students who drive to Grad Night will be directed down New York Ave, which will turn into a one-way street from 10:00 p.m. to midnight. Student drivers will be instructed to park in the Junior Lot. Traffic Control Staff will be on hand to ensure that this plan is executed in a safe and organized manner.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

We'll have exciting food and beverage options for students to enjoy on Grad Night in many of our event zones. Join the team that will help our food truck vendors provide food and drinks throughout the night.

Some of our most popular attractions have lines. To help manage lines, we'll have wait-lists. Sign up to manage the wait-list and text students when it's their turn. This will ensure our students enjoy the party instead of waiting in a line. You must supply your own cell phone and charger.
